As reported yesterday on Facebook, today we another anesthesia on him to clean his wounds, put him on IV antibiotics, check his blood and re-assess the situation.

Dr. Carlos Sanchez, who has helped us so much for the past several years as part of the Smithsonian and is now based in Chicago, has provided valuable guidance for today's procedure.

Sleeping |
Chewbaaka's skin where there is no hair looks quite raw and reddened but it looks as though healing is taking place. He was under anaesthesia for about 1.5hrs. About 2.5hrs after reversal of the anesthesia he got was obviously nauseous but now he is now recovering from and is sleeping calmly.
